When it comes to AI-generated games, I'm always torn on how to feel about them. Unfortunately, you can tell with most games. In the case of your game, you can see it in the hero's strange walking animation and the "dead" backgrounds—no animations for things like waterfalls or other elements that would have breathed some life into the game.

But on to the positives ;) I initially just intended to take a quick look to see what your game was like... but that turned into more than an hour. I love these old retro games like the ones on the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive or the Amiga. Those were usually extremely hard to master, especially those hack 'n' slash side-scrollers. In the case of "Demon Slayer," it's different. It's quite easy and keeps you motivated to keep going just to see new enemies and levels. At the beginning, I never thought I'd actually see the end of the game ;)

All in all, for a retro slasher, your game turned out really well if you can look past the AI aspect. For experienced players of this genre, it will probably be too easy. For me, I found it just right and very entertaining.
